Q:
I notice that some travel pro bags expand 360 degrees around the whole bag while others only expand on three sides but not the top. the pictures do not show the expansion. does this bag expand all 4 sides or only three (not the top)
A:
Typically the expansion is an additional zipper that goes up to the top and then stops there. It zips around the bottom but not the top. - Answered by Krista on April 8, 2019
Q:
What is the weight of this suitcase?
A:
Hello, This item weights 7.5 lbs. Thanks! - Answered by Krista on February 6, 2019
Q:
What are the overall outside dimensions of the Travelpro Crew 11 22" Expandable Rollaboard Suitor?
A:
The overall dimensions of this piece are 23.5" x 14.5" x 9.5". - Answered by Emily A. on December 10, 2018
Q:
Does this bag have a strap to piggy-back an another bag? Thank you.
A:
Hi Hitoshi, Yes, this item does have a strap to add a bag to it. Thanks for contacting us! - Answered by Renee B on November 21, 2017
Q:
Is indigo more purple or blue in color?! Pic looks purple
A:
The color of this piece can appear more purple than indigo in certain light. I actually own this piece and find it to lean more to the purple side of the color spectrum. - Answered by Renee B on December 10, 2018
Q:
Is the suit bag removable? I think it is but I want to be sure. If you take it out, is there still a pocket that zips shut? Does the zipper open at the top? What tote goes with this? Would the maxlite soft tote be too wide?
A:
Yes, the suiter is removable and it becomes a pocket. The Crew 11 tote would be a good match for it. - Answered by on March 16, 2017
Q:
Looking to replace an old 24 inch expandable Rollaboard Travelpro with a new 24 inch Black Expandable Rollaboard Travelpro. I saw one listed on another website but it was unavailable. Do you have one?
A:
The only Travelpro item we have that measures 24" is the Travelpro Crew 10 50" Rolling Garment Bag and that 24" is when it is folded up. - Answered by Eric M. on March 24, 2018
Q:
Shipping - who do you ship with, what is the time frame? What is your return policy?

My 4-day trip bag
PROS: Fits midway between 18" executive and 26" big bag - just enough for 4-day business trips. Suiter keeps a blazer & 2-3 pairs trousers from getting too wrinkled. Well made. The outer phone charger pocket is useful.

CONS: Wish the pockets were detachable.

Less quality than previous versions
PROS: Travelpro continues to be an industry leader in rollaboard luggage. Thoughtful exterior pockets. The suit frame helps to minimize wrinkling.

CONS: Clearly the crew 11 is not as sturdy as the previous Travelpro Crew I had and used regularly for over a decade. Fewer exterior pockets.

High Quality Bag
PROS: The wheels roll very smoothly. I am also happy about the design of the new hold down straps. It is also lightweight and maximizes the space inside. I also had the 10 and this one appears to be better built than the last one.

CONS: As much as I think the power port is nice, I am not sure if I will ever use it.

PROS: Luggage Pros were great!
Did not realize we had to buy a battery pack for the suitcase but got a coupon for 30% off. Should notify people that not part of suitcase. But, beautiful case and so light weight.

Voluminous and Stylish
PROS: Preface: I am an airline pilot flying international routes 14 days per month. This bag will get a lifetime of use in less than a year.

This bag is a replacement for my old Travelpro Crew 5 which, as one can tell by the series number, lasted a LONG time. The TC Pro 11 is stylish and well-designed, with adequate room for a 14 day trip. I immediately noticed the comfort of the telescoping handle grip-- a more refined design from my previous TP. As well, I noticed that the bag does not tip forward when I have my second bag (laptop backpack) slung over the handle using its pass-thru. The design of the front "feet" of this bag helps keep the bag upright, no matter how heavy that backpack is (and mine is heavy!) and the center of gravity is lower, providing better balancing.

CONS: The new telescoping handle is thinner than previous designs. Though it feels much better in my hand, it remains to be seen if the telescoping handle is strong enough not to be twisted or damaged by the weight of my backpack.

The external USB charger port and power-pack pocket seem superfluous to me. In fact, that system takes up valuable space inside the bag. (Note: Given that I am packing for 14 days trips, I need ALL the space I can get and having the room to put in even an extra shirt of 2 pair of socks is critical. This USB contraption takes away enough space-- a few cubic inches, maybe-- to be noticeable to me, but not likely to everyone).

Works Well
PROS: Rolls well, fits in the overhead storage, holds a week's professional clothing without even needing the expansion. The folding garment feature works well.

CONS: The supplied hook to hang a second bag is too low for a taller bag like a backpack. It's a bit difficult to identify on the carousel -- it's just another black bag.

Things that make you go hmmmmm.
PROS: I own 2 other TravelPro bags purchased from here that are exceptional and this was no different. Well designed and styled. It has that solid feel that I like about their product.

CONS: So I probably should have looked more closely at the Exterior USB Port that allows you to connect any USB device to a Power Bank for easy access to power on the go. My assumption was that the Power Bank was included so I was surprised to find a coupon enclosed for a discount to buy one. As I studied this it seems like a fairly silly innovation - it's just a pocket to stick in a generic power brick with an extension cord to the back of the suitcase. I think the pocket is a great idea as I can stick my phone and a charger in there to charge if needed but the extension cord seems sort of silly. I think this is just a solution looking for a problem. I toyed with buying a more expensive TP bag but took this one for the charger thingee...had I fully understood it I might have chosen differently.
