Pretty but low durability
PROS: Pretty

CONS: Very poor quality. I have had three Rimowa bags fail completely over just three trips. I recommend a less expensive bag that you can replace for a low cost or Tumi if you need a brand. My Tumi bags have never failed.

Light and easy to maneuver
PROS: very light so you can pack more and not exceed 50 lb limit. zippered covers makes things neat.

CONS: The combination can be easily changed accidentally if TSA opens luggage with a key with one hand and at the same time brushes against numbers with other hand. This happened to me once, luckily the lock opened after dialing the last number dial a few times. now i have to put tape on the dials so numbers can't be moved. looks ugly. dials should be recessed more.
also, i have to always ask hotel to bring up an extra luggage rack because luggage needs to open flat like a book, this takes up a lot of space.

I am so glad I bought this suitcase
PROS: I just took my first trip with this suitcase. Between the hard cover and the zippered mesh inside it kept my clothes in better shape than ever before. The light blue is beautiful -- and makes it easy to spot. The wheels are fabulous and it is so easy to move it from place to place. I'm going to enjoy having a finish I can wipe clean when the airlines have plastered it with grease! Overall, a very good purchase.

CONS: I've only used it for one trip so I cannot evaluate the durability. I wish it had more internal structure, e.g. optional pockets and optional straps. The biggest downside is the price. It seems expensive for such a simple construction.

not as durable as advertised
PROS: very lightweight. Rolls easily. colors beautiful.

CONS: I bought 2 salsa air 32" bags. This luggage scratches and marks up easily when traveling by air. It's hard to keep it looking good. Luggage not very durable for the price. During my first international trip with the luggage the wheels broke and shell cracked on one bag. On another trip the stitching around the zipper separated on the other bag. Neither of the problems were fixable. Rimowa replaced one bag after some bag and forth over the airline liability for the damage; the airlines paid for replacement of the second damaged bag. I would not buy this luggage again.

Light as advertised
PROS: Really light - hard to believe it will stand up to airline rough handling. First trip in a week.

Great luggage
PROS: Looks great, really light which was a priority and fits a lot in.

CONS: Does scratch - wish it came in silver then would not be so noticible. because of the configuration have to open it up flat which means you need a lot of room to pack and unpack easily.

Excellent for long winter trips and for packing for two as well!
PROS: Extremely lightweight! I was able to pack a week's worth of winter clothes and still be under the 50 lb weight limit! Rolls very easily!

CONS: No place to securely stap a 2nd smaller piece of luggage of computer bag to.

Favorite Suitcase!
PROS: We are back and forth LAX to Munich 4-6 times a year. It requires transporting my bag from our flat to the train to the airport both ways (I don't drive in Munich). It is at least 1/4-1/2 mile outdoor walk in all weather. This suitcase rolls smoothly in gravel treated sidewalks and cobblestones in the dead of winter. Had this bag over a year and wouldn't think of traveling with anything else. One winter trip with my Heys & now the wheels function, but are rough (the gravel used on the sidewalks in winter ruined the wheels). Gave the Sampsonite bag away after one bad weather commute (I have shoulder injury from dragging the Sampsonite spinner). I will only buy spinners--4 wheels are a HUGE improvement especially with more than one bag. Rimowa is the best Lightweight, durable, love the zipper pull locks. A little pricey, but with our living situation, worth every penny! Love Luggage pros shipping/returns rocks!

CONS: Wish they offered a bag that expands, in any size...I haven't needed this feature, but I worry about not having enough room,

Light and great looking bag!
PROS: Bag is very light for such a large bag, holds ALOT of clothing! Went to London and Rome a month ago and this bag was fantastic on trip. Packed full and never went over 50 lbs. Bag is very easy to roll through airports and seems very sturdy, although the finish does scratch and mark up easily. Great bag so far.

CONS: Exterior scratches and marks up easily.

Easily under weight for Greece
PROS: This suitcase is VERY light and it was easy for me to stay under 50 lbs when traveling to Greece last month. The suitcase wheels like a dream compared to my Eagle Creek and Heys.

CONS: They say it's very durable but this was it's first trip and there are many scratches and scrapes on the paint. I wondered about that when I bought it but it was supposed to be durable. It withstood forces but it will definitely mark up quickly.
