Presenting Salsa, Rimowa's innovative generation of lightweight luggage conceived, designed and manufactured in accordance with the state of the art. Made of 100% polycarbonate for the toughest of conditions, this ultra-light luggage is particularly sturdy and extraordinarily flexible. If compressed, Salsa will return to its original shape automatically when the pressure is released.
PROS: I have 5 Rimowas and this is the less appealing. I like the fact that one side is larger than the other, I mean, when you open the trolley both sides are different from each other. This makes a little bit more room inside the bag, for a bigger item - the problem is that the robust handle system uses part of this space inside the bag.
CONS: When I choose it in the website, I have not realized that there was only 2 wheels! The trolley was in the middle of similar others with 4 wheels, and one's distraction is easy after all. And this detail (4 wheels) makes a huge difference.
This one is slightly SMALLER than the others cabin salsa! (and heavier). I really prefer to use luggages with the maximum size allowed inside the plane, you never know.
The handle system uses part of the space inside the larger part of the bag, and this can be a concern if you have a box or another non flexible item.
The colour (matte grey) is not like a polished metal, but a odd grey plastic (again, previously I only saw it in the web site photo).
For sure I would not buy this trolley if I knew this negative features (I was not able to return it when I bought).

Perfect carry-on bag
PROS: Excellent construction, nice interior dividers, good looks. Slightly larger than my old metal Zero Halliburton carry-on but still fits into the overhead space in smaller airplanes.

Good value and good company
PROS: I bought this bag about four years ago and it's been my main bag ever since. I travel almost every week and this comes with me. It looks great and is easy to spot at a distance. The wheels roll smoothly and the bag is very light. Also, I never had a problem with the handle which I know can be a weak link for a lot of other bags. Having four wheels is great because you can just "push" it through the airport.
CONS: After three years my bag developed some cracks around where the handle connects. The good news is I contacted Rimowa about this and they agreed it exceeded normal wear and tear, so they sent me an entirely new bag! This kind of customer service will make me loyal to Rimowa. Good company and good bag!
