Athalon's focus is to give the adventure traveler the highest possible quality while ensuring the best value in today's luggage marketplace. Reinforced stitching at high-stress points, properly placed and balanced handles and straps, water repellent materials that are breathable and have drainage capabilities, and even weight distribution to lighten the load are some of the features that enhance your bag. You can expect function and durability from every Athalon product!
PROS: Enough pockets and space that you can take enough clothes for a two-week vacation (as long as it's not someplace where you need heavy clothes). Color options are nice and will make it easy to pick out your luggage at baggage claim if you need to check it. Construction quality seems very good. Haven't used it enough to talk to the durability. Luggage Pros is FANTASTIC when it comes to customer service, so when purchasing luggage products, this is the company to use. Pricing is very competitive.
CONS: The first time the Athalon luggage arrived there were manufacturing issues on the bag so sent it back for an exchange. So check your bag, all zippers, latches, moving parts, extended handle, etc to make sure it works properly. You should do this with any product you purchase. No hassle to exchange and not additional out of pocket costs.

PROS: I will admit I was first drawn to this bag because it was cute and I prefer the duffle look. I like the orange interior (easy to find things). My husband has a mother lode e-bag that has a little more space, but I was still able to get everything I wanted inside. I took numerous trips with it and the exterior and zipper are rugged-no problems. It fit in the overhead compartment, until the one time it didn't due to the handle on top. It had to be gate checked and it went in the luggage masses. That did it in. The handle will no longer come out so it can't be used a rolling bag. Bummer.
CONS: Did not hold up below the plane.

PROS: This bag is awesome! My rolling backpack couldn't handle the huge books and heavy load I have to carry every day. This is not dramatically larger in dimension than my previous backpack, but more stable, easier to load, has more usable space and pockets, and is easier to roll/lift. I can fit every book I need, notebooks, folders, my lunch bag, and 17-inch laptop inside with space to spare. Very sturdy construction. I love the Batik color. It is pretty without being too much of a pattern.

PROS: I have all three sizes. This one fits in the overhead and takes the abuse.
