Travelpro Crew 9 26" Expandable Rollaboard Suiter

Pros: the service was fast and I got the bag much quicker than I had expected. The bag is very light weight.

Cons: I was a former airline employee and a high level frequent traveler. I have counted on Travelpro bags for the last 18 years since my first roll-a-board. However, I have to say that this bag is not nearly as strong or sturdy as any of the other Travelpro bags I have owned over the last 18 years. My crew 5 and crew 6 bags are much sturdier, and have been on countless trips and have had very little issue other than I have worn out the wheels. This new Crew 9 bag does not have the same kind of sturdy construction, and can be flattened if not completely full. I checked this bag for the first time this week, and items inside were damaged as the bag could not take the weight of other bags in the luggage compartment. If you are looking for a real sturdy long lasting bag, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The quality is no longer there.

Pros: You can't beat LuggagePros for great customer service. The bag arrived fast and is well designed. The removable hanging bag was my main reason for selecting this bag, and it has not disappointed. The outside laptop/ipad pocket is neat, but I would never check the bag with electronics in the pocket.

Cons: This is the second Travel Pro bag I have purchased. My Platinum 5 carry on bag has been my choice for travel for over 5 years. It has endured over 600 flights during this time and looks brand new. This bag does not have near the construction quality of my Platinum 5. In its first trip this bag showed some "scars" from the baggage handling. I don't see how it will survive for more than 2 years.
