PROS: small, easy to use, and inexpensive. Guess you get what you pay for.
CONS: does not work properly. The weight of the suitcase varied each time I weighed it, and this gadget was totally inaccurate. At the airport it was much less than what the "scale" showed. Also, it is broken already and the two needles are stuck together. I am returning it.

CONS: pretty cheap, and really isn't accurate. Ended up getting something digital elsewhere, that is much more easy to pack

PROS: Luggage Pros. They are flawless in getting things to you in a timely fashion and with the best price.
CONS: I'm on my 4th one and I have yet to have gotten one to work properly, especially with very heavy bags. Generally I buy these to keep from going over the weight limit and it doesn't fulfill that basic requirement.

PROS: Every traveler needs this. No reason not to pay less than $20 on a scale that has saved me almost $100! 2 times it has been exactly what the airport scale displayed. Once it was a pound higher.
CONS: Probably not for people who don't overpack.....whoever they are.

PROS: Excellent scale. Works awesome. It has saved me money on two different occasions. I was over packed, over weight, and would have paid for it at the Airport.

PROS: Easy to read dial with a "memory pointer". I like the bottom hook arrangement, very easy and fast to use
CONS: I tried 2 of these and they both indicated that the luggage was heavier than it actually was, compared to a calibrated scale at the luggage shop. I then tried a digital scale and it matched the calibrated scale exactly. The Travelon was off by 2 - 4 pounds on an 8 pound piece of luggage, I tried 2 and one was a little more accurate than the other
