Pros:
Well laid out with plenty of external compartments, including easy access small sections for gadgets/phone and a medium side -laptop and folio section. The main internal compartment is quite large and somewhat expandable. Depending on how you pack, this would be perfect alone for 2-3 day business trips, especially if you use packing cubes (rectangles?) and pack-it folders to conserve space.
But the real reason for buying this model is for use as a second carry on to stuff under seat while your full-size rolling bag goes overhead on longer trips. Most airlines allow two bags as no-charge carry on items, and unless you over-stuff the Network Soft-Carry on with bulky and stiff items, this will fit under the seats of most international airlines. Items you may want to access during the flight can be easily pulled out without much fuss.
This piece has made decreased the amount of time I search for items while away and ready to leave, making for stress-free exits from hotels/guest rooms without worrying about what I left behind. Packing cubes and dirty clothes cube also help. I can quickly see what is missing, unlike before, when I stuffed everything in a duffle bag.
Cons: I had to downsize my toiletry travel kit to maximize space on weekend trips. Shoes/projectors take up a lot of the internal space when used alone on business trips.
