Common under the seat dimensions are 16" x 12" x 14". The Sydney Love Stripe Day Trip Bag comes close to those but it is best to check with individual airlines as these dimensions can vary. -

PROS: I gave an earlier review and stated the handle was short. That is not the case. There was something that caught and prevented the handle from coming up all the way. After a little work, whatever it was released and the handle came up to a full 25". Everything is great and I've already received envious complements from my co-workers.

Handle a little short; bag very big
PROS: Lots of room and lots of outside pockets. It is nice and boxy and easy to get items in and out. It is very big as one other reviewer pointed out and may surprise you. I use this several times a week when I bring my laptop and work home. It is a little large for that, but will be extremely handy for travel. I just hope it fits under the airline seat.
CONS: The handle is a little short. I am 5'3" and with low heels, I have to be careful that the daypack doesn't bump up against the back of my shoes when walking. Another little issue is that the velcro fastener that attaches the fabric over the frame in the body of the daypack (required by TSA for checking the lining) comes undone from the weight of my computer when I put it in. Not a big issue and I may add another strip of velcro to resolve the problem. I may not have kept it if I had been able to try it out in person, but if it wasn't for these two things, I would have given this 5 stars.

Seems will be really useful
PROS: I really like the look of this bag and feel it will be very useful as carry on luggage. I like that it has an assortment of exterior pockets although they seem pretty unobtrusive, unlike some other bags with all kinds of pockets hanging off them. I like the style of the handles, having had to retire a couple of bags recently because the handles ripped where they were sewn on. The black and kahki stripe is a distinctive pattern without being too wildly patterned, looking more professional. Having lost my airline status and free checked bag, I'll be carrying on luggage more frequently and this bag will work quite well for quick trips. The wheel function seems quite smooth.
CONS: Be sure you watch the desctiption carefully and really pay attention to the size. It is a bit larger than I was expecting
