Samsonite Luggage Set - Five Piece Nested Set

Pros: This is a beautiful set of luggage. I got the red color and it is fabulous! I love the way the carry on pieces attached to the uprights. The nesting was very important to me as well. I only have to store one suitcase. Excellent price for a brand name product.

Cons: I haven't found any.

Pros: Thought the quality of the luggage was very good for the price. A few loose threads needed to be trimmed, but they did not affect the quality. Like the fact that they nest for storage. We'll be using the smaller pieces on a road trip this summer.

Pros: Love the red color. Love that we got so many pieces for a great price from a well-known & reputable brand. It arrived very quickly & was packaged great. Everything was new & sealed in bags. All the zippers, pockets & clips work wonderfully well.
We needed a luggage set to take on a family vacation & then also have something in place for a longer couples trip we're planning overseas. So, we wanted something with multiple pieces that would suite all of our travel needs from small weekend getaways to 2-3 week trips to Bora Bora & everything in between.
The capacity of all the pieces, pretty much holds almost everything we own!
The value is great. I searched all over the internet & some other local shops where I get amazing deals & nothing came close to what I snagged on this set, which included free shipping. I'd spend so much more buying all the pieces I needed, gas travelling around looking for what I needed, or waste hours of my time surfing the net trying to locate a deal to save me another $10. Nothing came close & so we made the decision & definitely don't regret it.

Cons: I personally would prefer a sturdier handle on the wheeling pieces. It's an adequate handle & I'm sure it'll do the job as needed, but I really like the feel & function of the sturgier "T" handles versus the "U" handle type.
And - if I had my perfect set - it's be offered in stylish colors & patterns. If I could have bought anything - I'd have bought this exact same set in leopard! I could have settled for red & leopard, but definitely would have liked something that made it a bit more unique & would stand out on a carousel at the airport than your basic red or basic black.

Pros: The luggage is a nice rich red color, there is plenty of interior room with organizational pockets. I liked the way I could store the set nestled within itself. The Price.

Cons: DURABILITY & FUNCTIONALITY. Traveled by car--used both wheeled bags. Zippers pulled apart & became stuck on both cases with first and only use. I'd hate to think what would have happened if the airlines had gotten a hold of them.

Pros: Good size, the duffel and other smaller bags are not just throwaways like some sets. They are big enough for a second carry on or a good size weekend bag.

Cons: They're still very new. I'll know more after a May trip, but they are Samsonite so I expect alot.

Pros: Loved the red color...really pretty red...no orange or pink in it. Red can be cheap..but not here. I priced the same set minus 2 small pieces and was approx. $271.00 + taxes etc. at discount store. Great buy for the summer vac traveler and you don't have to worry about the baggage handlers " drop kicking" your $$$ bag.

Cons: Would have liked wheels on the duffel...awkward and unattractive to carry for women.

Pros: I didn't expect to receive my shipment so quickly being on backorder. This site is great and they sent me a tracking number within a day or two of my order placement. You will not find a better value at this price for Samsonite luggage. This set is well worth it and I expect it will hold up during its 10 year warranty.

Pros: I ordered the red with black trim and I was very pleased with the looks. It is a very nice set for the price I paid. I had looked and everything close to it was very expensive. It seems to be well made and durable enough for what little I travel. While I have not used it as of yet I cannot say how well it will hold up. But I think it will do very nicely for our first trip on a plane in December as the pieces are within the regulation specs. There is also lots of storage pockets for organizing.

Pros: A great value and a reliable name. The color and general appearance is good and it came really fast.

Cons: I don't know yet how well they will wear, they are light-weight and I won't be using them until October. I would have liked for the tote to be a different design, i.e., more multi-purpose and conducive to comfortable over-the-shoulder use . It would be nice if it could accommodate a small laptop w/sleeve as I wouldn't be allowed to carry it plus a laptop plus a carry-on bag - one has to go!

Pros: I was very excited to get a Samsonite Luggage Set for a very cheap price. It seemed to be pretty and strong quality.I had a upcoming trip planned and was excited to use my new luggage.

Cons: As soon as I arrived to the airport, my excitement switched over to disappointment. The pull-out handle refused to budge and was stuck. My entire trip was filled with aggravation because I had a lot of difficulty dragging the suitcase around with me. I realized that the set was actually of very poor quality and durability.

Cons: They aren't hard sided luggage, but that's not even necessarily a con. If you were looking for old fashioned suit cases, these aren't but they are well made and suit the modern travel need.
