Great luggage

Pros: LIght weight, rugged, easy to pack, good looking. I've been using a 26 inch Limbo for a couple years now and it's been great. I broke a wheel, dragging it across a gravel parking lot and Rimowa had a free replacement wheel to me in 2 days. I fly 150K+ per year and I'm a big fan.

Cons: Expensive.

Pros: It is very good looking, and easy to spot on a carousel (the midnight blue model, anyway). The interior is well-designed

Cons: I have just retired my 3rd Limbo 30" case in about 8 years and it is my last. I travel a lot. To Africa, Asia, Middle East, etc. I have only ever had the 2-wheeler, not the multi-wheeler. First, the interior fittings are pretty shoddy. Each half has a webbed piece that hooks in on top of your stuff to hold it in place, but the hooks came ff almost immediately. The locks too are substandard. I had to replace them on my second bag, and one of the locks on my current bag has been hard to close for some time. But the worst is the shell. My first case got a spiderweb crack in the polycarbonate, rendering it unusable. The second one gor one of the aluminum-reinforced corners stove in by the airline. On both occasions the U.S. dealer, Square Luggage in New Jersey, sold me a replacement at a reasonable cost, but for the price you pay this stuff should come with a 10-year unlimited warranty. So with my current case I was packing for a trip and I could not get the thing to close. Somehow it had gotten distorted so the 2 halves wouldn't match up, no matter how much I struggled. This is not the kind of performance I expect from a bag that with shipping will set you back a grand.
