Pros:
I bought this strap to replace the original strap that came with a Rick Steve's carry on bag I bought 2 years ago. I have been commuting weekly for the past 18 months, and the bag and shoulder strap have been used hard but worked great.
When the original strap frayed and came apart in the padded section, I was happy to find a replacement strap for sale, as the rest of the bag is wearing fine.
The shoulder strap was sent promptly. When I attached it, I noticed that the clip hooks were of lesser quality than the original, with wire spring closers on the replacement strap scratch my arms and are quite annoying. Even more disappointing, the padded strap has started shredding on my second trip with the replacement strap,
Not what I expected from Luggage Pros or Rick Steve.
