Pros: This pack is great for holding all of my stuff (I'm a commuter student, so I often have to bring a lot of books, notebooks, and a laptop to school each day and carry them around). It offers a lot of room, plus the padded laptop sleeve which is a great bonus. I am able to fit a ton of stuff without the backpack bulging outward and making me look like a super-nerd (superficial, I know). The front pockets are perfect for organizing pens, pencils, a calculator, planner, etc, and the top felt-lined pocket is great for my phone and ID. I got this pack so I would also be able to use it for day hikes (the side straps will allow me to secure my chihuahua inside the large zippered pocket - yes, this was an actual consideration of mine when choosing a backpack) and I have not yet taken it on a hike, though I look forward to it. The color (mine is 'bandana blue') is a little brighter than pictured.
Cons: I wish this had some sort of hip strap for backpacking, other than that, it's all good.
