The hardest working briefcase to come along in a while. Although compact in shape, it devours huge amounts of paperwork, files and the rest. It is no surprise that this is the best-selling bag in the Mulholland collection.
The best bag for a college professor or professional not requiring legal documents
PROS: Perfect size for 8x11 pads, papers, journals, and a 13" laptop or an iPad. Daily, I carry an iPad, at least 2-3 8x11" yellow pads, 5-6 files depending on what I am working on at the time, plus all the electronics accessories to support the iPad, my cell phone, etc. It is big enough to carry what I need but won't overstuff it like I do my traditional zippertop brief case.
The Stout color is a deep, deep rich brown. Pure pleasure for the senses.
Being a bag snob (I rotate Filson, Bosca, Bridge Leather, and Hartmann along with this bag) and this is by far my favorite. Carries the easiest with its wide shoulder strap, hangs well, and is aging nicely.
CONS: The only con was the price. Like all things, if you enjoy it, you won't remember the price... but it did ask for a con. Otherwise, there are none.
