Pros: The Oxford II series is definitely lighter than the original Oxford or Oxford Classic series (I now have pieces from all three). These bags in the tan color are very nice-looking; I have had several compliments. This bag has all the London Fog high quality, features, and functionality expected. The top and side handles are upgraded - more protected from damage, well padded, and look more luxurious. I like that the exterior materials are water resistant and heavier duty than those used for bags costing over a thousand dollars. Baggage handlers, of course, have a procedure to circumvent every luggage protective feature ever devised. Since the pictures don't show it; the name and address tag is in a pocket on the back of the bag. These bags have great quality, features, and weight for the price.
Cons: Unlike the Oxford and Oxford Classic, these bags do not have side feet to protect the side without the handle, and there is no protection for the interior pull-handle rails that are located just inside the back of the bag. For the 25" I cut down the heavy-duty cardboard that came in the front pocket and inserted it in the rear zipper pocket to lend support and deflect scrapes across the rails (As the 21" is a carry-on this is not a problem). Also, the tan color, although stunning in appearance, does show when it's dirty, unlike darker colors. I use an automotive upholstery/carpet cleaner to clean mine.
