PROS: Just got this bag recently (Kenneth Cole Reaction - Risky Business in Dark Brown). It is great.
Small to medium, fits 13" laptop in heavy protective cover and would fit 15" laptop alone too. With that you can get in 500page book, some other things like glasses, couple pens, 80page notebook and newspaper in the back pocket and it doesn't look overpacked at all, just like on the picture. But it still is small to medium, just the right size.
Material is great. The leather is somewhat soft, it certainly isn't as rigid as it looks on the pictures. It does take damage and folds a bit and it probably won't be totally "pristine" already when you receive it. But it's leather, those things are barely noticeable and it doesn't taky any "profesialism" away from it. It goes great with either business suit at work (I am a law student) or regular clothes at school or on a trip anywhere.
Overall this is the best purchase. I have researched bags from 50 to 300 dollars and this seems to win in everything.
CONS: Cons aren't really cons but let's say things that could be different.
1) The strap is probably too short for anyone above 6.0". I am 6.0" myself and I think that if I was 6.1"+ then the bag would be too high considering my wasteline and it would be more of a "purse" than a messenger bag.
2) There are weak magnets that hold the cover. I personally wouldn't mind if they weren't there at all, it is simply covered. Some people though require the cover to hold even when the bag is upside down. You don't get that with this one.

PROS: The bag is well constructed, with beautiful leather and attractive appearance.
CONS: The top is supposedly held closed by two extremely weak magnets. If held upside down, the flap opens and the contents are spilled. I had to order two purse clasps from another seller and install them myself with an Xacto knife and hammer.

PROS: Two "best things" about this bag: It's elegant simplicity of design and it's beautiful quality leather and construction. I was not actually planning to buy a new laptop bag but knew when I saw this one that it was just about perfect - including the price. And, it could double as a big purse for every day or travel.
CONS: The leather bag is a bit heavier than the nylon one I've been using.
