Pros: The bag is relatively light and the quality of construction appears to be solid. It is a good looking piece of luggage but it has one MAJOR flaw..........
Cons:
Warning! This bag will not pass the carry on size requirements if you are asked to verify its size in one of those sizing bins. The wheels stick out too far....it will not even fit in the overhead compartment wheels first (as the attendants ask you to do)--the bag has to go in sideways or else it prevents the lid of the overhead compartment from closing. The zippers also tend to snag quite often...you have to make a conscious effort to push the material away from the zipper every time you use it.
I have yet to use the harness, so I cannot comment on the backpack aspect of this bag.
I like the bag in general, but the uncertainty of whether I will be allowed to carry it on is a deal killer for me. Eagle Creek said there was nothing they could do for me, I am stuck with it. BUYER BEWARE!
Pros: Light weight easy to move throughout airports and travel on ground. I use this bag everywhere I go. Very good for 15.5 laptop & carry on accessible.
Cons: Separation zipper undos itself when I open the main compartment. I use a pice of paracord to stop that. Belt snap buckle broke for the wasteband; I replaced it with a stronger buckle.
