Pros: I'm an airline professional, needless to say I'm extremely hard on luggage. I bought this for my girlfriend and It is more than perfect for her travel needs for about 20 days on the road a year. The case is lighter weight than any soft case I've seen, even my $400 luggage pro that I carry. Great for weekend business travelers, doesn't look cheap either and will fit in all overheads Boeing, Airbus and Douglas aircraft. Will stand up to some abuse if gate checked on a Regional Jet, and the best part is you won't get your pink or green tagged bag back water logged like cloth carry bags, trust me its the fastest way to ruin a 3 or 4 day trip.
Cons: If your a flight crew member I would guess maybe a year of full time use use from the expandable handle before a malfunction. Will not fit in an overhead for Canadair Regional jets or Embraer Regional jets. Should not be much of a problem though since Regional jet Carriers make you gate check carry on luggage any way.
Pros: The body itself is well made. Very clean, no outer pockets or flaps to get hooked on when placing bag in over head bin or under a seat.
Cons: I'm a airline professional, and the pull out handle is weak and flimsy and the "piggy back" hook/strap won't last a month. It has tiny PLASIC attachment hooks. Delsey can do MUCH better I returned this bag.
Pros: Bag bought for a pending trip so it is too soon to say except I love the Delsey Meridian; I have already worn one out! I am looking forward to using this one... a lot!
Cons: This one doesn't have a combo lock but it does have a TSA lock which I was looking for. I understand the two are not compatible; I'll use a combo strap when I need it.
Pros: I like this new polycarbonate bag. It's lightweight and just the right size for my short business trips.
Cons: N/A
