Luggage Pros is so much more than luggage. We are a leader in developing large scale eCommerce websites, innovative travel products, and charitable programs that help people in need. Currently we are seeking a motivated PHP/MYSQL Web Developer to join our team. The ideal developer will be heavily involved in the full project lifecycle, interacting with multiple departments including Marketing, Operations, and IT members. This is a high impact position in a fast-paced, constantly changing technical environment..

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

• Responsible for additions to and enhancements of our eCommerce websites
• Cross-browser website design, testing and debugging
• Troubleshoot issues with web server, database, security, network, and web technologies
• Creating and maintaining APIs to 3rd party vendors and internal systems
• Working closely with our Marketing department to enhance our eCommerce experience
• Creation, testing and deployment of new websites & web applications

Requirements for the position include:

• Object-oriented programming ability
• Experience in *nix Environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills

Preferred knowledge includes:

• CSS / HTML
• PHP/MySQL
• Apache HTTPD, FastCGI, Memcache
• JavaScript and AJAX
• Adobe Flex
• Content management Systems (Specifically Magento)
