The Best Airports According to Travelers
By Mike | April 7, 2009
To start off with some “local” news – Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport (MSP) has been voted the best airport in North America according to the Air Service Quality Poll. According to the same report, MSP was also voted the third best worldwide. According to other reports, like Businessweek, no U.S. airport made it into the top 10. However, it doesn’t matter which report you read, one thing that is consistent is Airports in Asia taking up most of the top 10, including the top two spots. International Airports in Seoul, South Korea and Singapore are one and two, respectively.
Other Top Airports in the World
- Hong Kong
- Nagoya, Japan
- Halifax, Nova Scotia
- Ottawa, Ontario
- Austin, TX
I couldn’t find a list of the world’s worst airports, but I will give you my 3 least favorite:
- Charles DeGaul Airport, in Paris, France
- Heathrow Airport, in London, England
- La Guardia Airport, in NYC
If you have any airport you would like to share, especially from any of the ones listed here, please submit your comments.
