Pros:
We purchased two ultra light carry-ons to add to a larger 28" Atlantic purchased in Honolulu as a replacement for a damaged bag to Hawaii 8 years ago. After multiple car, air, and cruise trips since, that bag looks and is durable as the first day purchased!
Including three straps to pick up the luggage is a plus, as it is very easy to move without closing the bag. Also, has additional advantages putting in and taking out of overheads on planes.
Cons: There are only two fixed wheels. Any manufacturing thoughts on having four swivel wheels on this size luggage?
Pros: Love the blue, lightweight, and functional.
Cons: None
Pros: I still have 2 garment bags and 2 duffle bags and a carry that i purchased 19 years ago.The big suitcase was thrown away 2 days ago. It did its job, it couldn't take any more abuse. I am ordering 2 more of ATLANTIC luggages today. You can't get any better than ATLANTIC luggages.
Cons: I would like to have all suite cases with exspandable sections
Pros: Main draws are the great price, the extreme light weight, and the bottom handle. (Bottom handle is a great addition, esp. for this price point. Can put into overhead bin "top first" rather than "wheels first" which I can tell you sometimes is the difference in getting a bag to fit. Having handles top and bottom also make lifting the bag overhead easier and more secure and once at one'e destination makes it much easier to move from bed to luggage stand, etc. I wish a bottom handle was standard on all bags. In addition and very important is that the bottom handle is separate from and not integrated into the bottom feet Do you really want to be using a handle that is covered in dirt and such from the street?)
Cons: The major problem for me, who frequently flies small planes, is that the bag with wheels and top handle actually measures about 23 inches high and about 15 inches wide, larger than the official size for many domestic airlines. I wish manufacturers and retailers would list the actual size with wheels and handles included. And for anyone, even if they do not fly the smaller planes--do you really want to be paying the extra $25 each way because your bag does not quite meet the airlines specifications for carry-on?
Pros: Very lightweight. Have not used it yet
